My Experience with Xerisan Weight loss pills

xerisan I ordered these pills online through their web site here:

http://asa-xerisan.com/

It cost me nearly $200 back then for the 6 weeks I used it for (it's discounted now). The site looks a little shonky and unprofessional but it had been recommended to me by an acquaintance so I gave it a shot anyway.

I tried this product from mid February to mid April in 2006. These were the first weight loss pills I have ever tried. I was a little hesitant at first but have heard success stories that they really do help you lose weight. So did they work? In short, not really... but read on for my experience.

Week 1: When I started taking these, I weighed 106kgs (226lbs, really hard for me to believe today!). For the first week, I didn't notice much change, I was just as hungry and my weight remained constant. I didn't expect a miracle overnight, so I kept taking them. I took one pill before each main meal, which was 3 times a day as instructed.

foodWeek 2: This week I remember being very happy! I was eating a little healthier (no where near as much as i should be), and just felt really good about myself. I had lost 3kg by the end of this week and I was ecstatic! You can see what I ate for my meals though... that's tofu, not cheese! And I was constantly hungry which was frustrating s I thought these pills were meant to suppress my appetite! Regardless, I had a lot of motivation and did my best to eat healthy. At this stage, I was not sure if it was my diet or the pills working but I soon found out.

Week 3: This week, I was down to 93kg! (204lbs). I didn't eat as healthily but i did exercise a fair amount during this week. I was very exited as you'd expect. I kept taking the tablets 3 times a day, never missing a beat. I found I wasn't always craving for food so often, so I think the pills were working at this stage. Still very happy!

Week 4: This was when things changed. I gained an extra 3kgs this week (6.6lbs). You all know that dreaded feeling, to have tried so hard to find that you have gained weight!! WHY AM I GAINING WEIGHT?! I wanted to stop taking the pills as it didn't help me achieve anything I hadn't done by myself before. I decided to give it another week or two and see what happened.

Week 5: I was at 92kg by the end of this week (202lbs). But I worked REALLY hard. I was exercising (jogging) every day and eating nothing but fruits and salads. I think the weight I lost in this week was because of my hard work and not the pills. I almost gave up a few times, the feeling can't be helped but with encouragement from friends and family, I kept on going.

Week 6: Stopped taking them. They weren't working at all (at least I didn't think so). I decided that I would lose weight by myself, the old fashioned way. I was still at 92kg (202lbs) and was still feeling good about myself, but that was because I worked hard to get here. The pills were a joke. I was right all along to be skeptical.

So that was my brief experience with Xerisan. Not all too good. I didn't take any diet pills after that for 4 months, and all the while maintaining a body weight of about 90kgs (200lbs!). I was still very overweight, but I hadn't been under 200lbs for a long time so I was satisfied. That's until I came across Proactol. This was where my life changed, read my experience with it here.
